Project Brief

A major manufacturer of pneumatic equipment needed to augment it's innovation portfolio in their accessories line. The new products manager approached Trig with a challenge to create a series of new concepts for their next product line review. After an initial concept review, three hose reel concepts were approved for 3D CAD and design-for-manufacture. The Trig team was able to compress both phases into one, delivering finished 3D printed prototypes that were built with tooling requirements in mind.

Concept Ideation

We were challenged to create a series of new concepts for our client's next product line review. Three hose reel concepts were approved for 3D CAD and design-for-manufacture. 

 

CAD Modeling

Working with SolidWorks, we took the selected sketch concepts from the previous phase and fleshed them out into more finalized 3D concepts.

 

Final Render Glamour Shots

Finally, glamour shots were generated for the client and 3D printed prototypes - that were built with tooling requirements in mind - were also provided.
